So Many Books, So Little Time

This year one of my goals is to read more. There’s always a million books I want to read, but I never get a chance to read them because I’m busy doing other things. Like blogging. Or catching up on Pretty Little Liars. Or doing who knows what.

So this year year I’m hoping to carve out some time before bed each night to read. I’ve done this in the past, but somehow I kind of stopped. I think it’s about time I start up again.

With that being said, here are some books that I’m hoping to read in the near future:

What’s on your reading list?

Comments

  1. I love everything emily griffin writes! And that Mindy book has been on my list for awhile. If you’re looking for more nonsense humor books, I love the Chelsea Handler series too!

  2. I’m still trying to finish The Blogess’ book (it’s hilarious!), and I really want to get around to reading The Happiness Project- tell me how it is!

  3. The Casual Vacancy is sitting home on my end table. I look at it, then look at its size and then go hop on Pinterest or do some other equally unnecessary brain-wastig task. I *want* to read it. I just don’t feel like reading it. Right now. It’s like a cloud of my book-loving head.

I’m almost finished with Retail Hell and am 2 chapters in on Jeneration X.

  4. I just finished reading Try the Morgue by Eva Maria Staal. It was a pretty good and quick read. I’m looking forward to finishing the Game of Thrones series in the next month or so when I can get my hands on the last book. Other than that I’ve been checking out books from other people’s lists to see what’s good.

I tried to read A Casual Vacancy. I got 60 pages in and decided I couldn’t waste any more time on it. I wasn’t expecting it to be anything like Harry Potter, but the story was slow and slightly confusing and uninteresting.

  5. The Casual Vacancy is on my list too. I also haven’t yet read Gone Girl.
